No plastic liner on inside of 1.5 qt ice cream container.
UPC 775672****. I opened the ice cream container, I wanted to have some, when I got back from the supermarket.The ice cream melted a bit on my way home.
I was shocked to find that there was no plastic lining when I opened the container. Because the ice cream melted some it was oozing out of the container and down the carton. This happened despite the fact it had an outer seal around the carton. Also, the ice cream was stuck to the underside top of the lid.
The ice cream wasnt melted to liquid just a bit on the soft side. I am sure this happens to a lot of people. No covering over the ice cream just reads unsanitary to me. If it has something to do with sustainability efforts, I say, screw that.
You shouldnt take shortcuts with food products.
Besides, customers are paying more for less these days and now quality is suspect. Didnt think to take a picture or know that you would ask for one.

Same issue Nov 18 2022. There are many reports about bad pecans.
Why no recall? Unilever should be accountable.

Response on Nov 19 2022 from Breyers customer service was my feedback on their web site form did not meet their guidelines to publish my concern. Email from them nov 20 2022 says they posted a response.
I cant access breyers.com. 501 Bad Gateway message.
